Non-Potable Irrigation Pond is not for Fishing

Dear Timnath Ranch Metro District,

The Metro District would like to remind the community of a recurring issue regarding the non-potable irrigation pond located behind Long Drive and along Twin Bridge Drive.

It has come to our attention that some residents are using the pond for fishing purposes. Unfortunately, this activity is causing unintended damage to the system, particularly with fishing lines getting tangled in the pumps. This has resulted in operational disruptions and potential maintenance issues that are both costly and time-consuming to address.

In order to maintain the functionality and integrity of the irrigation pond, the District wants to remind you that fishing in this area is strictly prohibited. Signs are posted emphasizing that the pond is designated for irrigation purposes only and fishing is not permitted.
